The 2011-12 San Lorenzo Valley Business Directory is off to press. This issue marks marks my fifth year as publisher, and 28th year of publication. The thing that has been reinforced for me between then and now is that advertising works. It takes repetition to get the word out there, but it spreads like wildfire when on the loose.
San Lorenzo Valley residents recognize the Directory, and value it. Many report using the online version at www.slvbd.com from their phones and when on the go. And those who haven’t embraced technology to its fullest, keep a spare copy in their car.
It’s with great pride that I thank my advertisers, past and present, for believing in the product, and keeping their ads going. Though I try to be diligent about adding new businesses, it’s inevitable that I may overlook some. There are nearly 900 businesses in the valley, many are home based and tucked in the woods.
